Metal Clip Studies

Using the form of a metal clip, numerous photographs and drawings were made to study light reflection and shapes. The sketches were then translated into a series of icons that could be either abstract or objective. Juxtapositions of metal forms and typography were then explored, where focus was given to how the metal clip could interesect, replace, and complement parts of chosen letters.
