You in Design: Overlapping Book

During Fall of 2009, I was asked to make a visual reflection on who I am, how I relate to the field of design and how those two things combine to relate to the world I reside in. One of the explorations into those complex questions was a set of books sharing a back cover which made layered compositions individually and again when opened together. The left colorful side represents memories and things I cannot easily explain why they make up who I am. The right side is more concrete and are images of places I have lived in or visited. Each time the two sides fold over each other, new compositions are made.
