Weimar Cinema
This book looks at how typography in the 1920's and 1930's were influenced by German Weimar Expressionist cinema and vice versa. There are two texts that simultaneously run though the book; one is a study of films such as Metropolis and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and the other is a historical look at Jan Tschichold's New Typographic Movement.
