Internet Connections

After attending a design and technology lecture series, I became interested to find out more about the workings of computers and the internet. This project is the result of that curiousity. In this book, using reed-like organic structures, I wanted to represent how computers around the world are connected to each other through the tool of the internet. Each end point represents a single computer, each line shows a cable or wireless connection, and each connecting point represents a new network. Though computer networks start out small, they suddenly grow exponentially at servers and gateways, allowing people to connect to others all over the globe.
